Josh Brewster
is in the midst of his 11th season as host of “Duck Calls” on AM 830 KLAA following all Anaheim Ducks games. The call-in show offers fans an opportunity to discuss the game and converse with a wide variety of guests, including players, broadcasters, writers and executives from the world of hockey.  He also appears regularly on SiriusXM NHL Network Radio.

 

Brewster also appears on NHL Network television, is a columnist for the popular hockey website TheFourthPeriod.com, and publishes an archive of his radio shows and columns at HockeytalkRadio.com.

 

From 2004-16, he served as editor-in-chief for Hockeytalk.biz, where he produced “Hockeytalk Audio Features,” a web radio series.  He also produced the first web radio show focusing solely on hockey, “The Western Hockey Radio Show” for the American Radio Network in 2000.

 

On television, he provided color commentary for Team USA at the World University Games for Fox College Sports and has narrated programs on Animal Planet and USA Network.

 

Brewster has also written for NHL.com, The Hockey News and Hockey Digest. His career in hockey media is profiled in the book, "Living the Hockey Dream" by Brian Kennedy.

 

A native of Buffalo, NY, Brewster resides in Northridge with his sons, Brent and Shane.
